Bathrooms:
Important spaces – might as well be nice also
Bathrooms can be wonderful spaces where some of life happens.
We like to help create environments that encourage this. Whether just updating the tired fixtures or completely gutting and recreating an entire room, it’s a place that many of our clients find important to remodel. It makes them feel better about their home or office. It’s one of the more expensive rooms (per square foot) to remodel but every one has brought joy and pleasure to our new friends.
Though they are usually smaller spaces, they are places we spend time. Sometimes it just needs a fresh paint job and some new flooring; maybe it means fixing a soft subfloor at the same time; or a new vanity and counter, with a shiny faucet and sink.
Bathrooms are rooms that will be with us for the duration, and have history all their own. If it is a space where the family’s children have been bathed, maybe a daughter’s wedding make-up was put on, a grab bar on the wall from an aging grandparent – they can even hold memories. Updating bathrooms can bring on a fresh life of their own, and a place for new memories to begin.
